Headquartered in Nolita's historic Puck Building, the Oscar Health office underscores the company's commitment to improving the age-old health insurance industry through transparency and building community. In line with Oscar's new approach, artworks from Robert Otto Epstein's 8Bitterized series merge technology and painting, while figurative works by Adrian Kay Wong echo the active lives of Oscar members.

Through an intentional consideration of how I abstract, simplify, and conceive various forms, as well as how they interact with one another, I attempt to organize components of similar structure into a larger composition that as a result expresses a sense of visual alliteration.

I find the notion of doubles and pairs often seen in sports to hold a certain level of allegorical significance to my own life – more specifically, growing up with a twin brother – as well as a sort of symbolism to the meaningful relationships that shaped us in our adolescence.

For the past several years I have been making paintings inspired by my interest in deconstructionist philosophy, architecture, and design. As with each pattern, all of my work starts with a grid, and so I begin by hand-drawing a grid onto the surface.
