Working in a range of materials, *Caroline Walls’ * creates pieces that celebrate the female form through depictions of intimacy, sexuality, fertility and motherhood. Her screenprints and sculptures illustrate the curves and contours of the female body with bold colorblocked shapes in nuanced tones of navy, clay and stone. Since having my daughter one year ago my practice has expanded to explores themes of fertility, birth, the bodily intimacy of growing new life, as well as the ‘rebirth’ of oneself through the experience of motherhood.
