Inside the Studio
Visit with Paulina Ho
While in Taos, New Mexico for a self-directed artist residency, Paulina Ho found inspiration in the stillness and beauty of the desert landscape. Her oasis in the Winter Corn Place allowed her to tune into her intuition and connect with her emotional and physical environments. The resulting body of work reminisces on the Southwest landscape, while reflecting the symbols, color schemes, and iconography personally significant to the painter.
The intention of this painting is to embrace the inner feminine qualities in one's self. Personally for myself, sometimes the hardest thing to do is to accept and sit still!
