Where are you from and where do you reside?

I’m originally from California and Texas, but Taos, New Mexico is home now.

What necessities do you require when making your art (radio, specific paintbrushes)?

Music is a MUST while I do anything creative as it greatly influences my mood and work.

How has your work developed in the past few years, and how do you see it evolving in the future?

From my point of view, it’s always evolving because I get tired of things rather quickly and enjoy the challenge of trying new things. I have no clue how my work will evolve in the future, but am hoping it grows in scale.

What is the most difficult part of the artistic process for you?

Honing down ideas and making decisions.

Is there something people would be surprised to learn about you?

Being labeled as an artist, people are usually surprised by my low-key active lifestyle.

I am constantly in conflict between my loose ‘art’ and structured ‘design’ brain, but the design side adds refinement to my fine art with sharper, clean line work.

Do you remember the first work of art that captured your attention?

The Scream by Edvard Munch, which in hindsight is pretty funny and makes sense.

Where do you find your day-to-day inspiration?

Just regular, everyday living. It could be from conversations, analyzing people and situations, moods, and a lot of self-reflection.
