Providência’s paintings depict two figures entangled in an embrace, their limbs overlap and intersect one another in an intertwining of line - blurring the boundaries of where one ends and the other begins.

For this new series, I wanted to visualize the concept of conversations, which I've been pondering for some time now. To focus more on the form of conversations, I decided to simplify the bodies and colors, inspired by the modernist pictograms we see everyday. I purposely left out any details about age or gender to make it easier for viewers to relate. With this starting point, I devoted my time and effort to visually represent the forms of conversations between these bodies, creating relationships between them.
