By piecing elements together in a collage-like way, I’m able to mimic an ever-changing environment.
About the Artist
Anna Koeferl (b. 1994) is a native New Orleans-based artist with a BFA in Painting from the Maryland Institute College of Art. Inspired by landscape and abstract form, she creates bold images that reflect her sense of place in Southeast Louisiana using paint, drawing, and printmaking. Anna is interested in exploring the potential for reciprocity between contemporary art and craft while finding new ways of representing the natural world.
