Hayley Sheldon's Uprise Art x MacArthur Place residency provided time for the artist to find inspiration in nature's rhythmic cycles.

From the west coast golden hour to the chilly, soft mornings of early spring, and native species of plant life that feel both ancient and new, Hayley drew inspiration from nature working in concert with itself in her new series of shaped screens.

This series is inspired by my Uprise Art x MacArthur Place residency in Sonoma, California: The west coast golden hour, the chilly, soft mornings of early spring, and native species of plant life that feel both ancient and new. Each element bends toward a general feeling of nature working in concert with itself.
